New Grab N' Go Pouches designed specifically for foodservice
Robbie Manufacturing, the Kansas City-based leader in flexible packaging and recipient of the FMI’s Retailer’s Choice Award and Good Housekeeping Good Buy Award for Packaging has just introduced an extension of their Hot N Handy® Pouch packaging line designed specifically for foodservice called Grab N’ Go.
Our product development staff set out to develop a single size serving pouch that would fit in a car cup holder with a built in handle for easy grab n go items. Proprietary venting was developed to maximize the freshness of the food prepared on-site daily. This new one-piece zip pouch design introduces closure security never before available with conventional packaging such as, paper cups and lids, boxes, and bags. Plus, the vivid graphics now available in 10-color print are eye catching to the consumer.
In just a year after its introduction, the Hot N Handy® Pouch has gained popularity with consumers and supermarkets nationally. Since it’s inception on March 2004, Hot N Handy® has grown from a packaging solution for rotisserie chicken to a wide variety of food applications in over 4,000 stores.
